49th Avenue Planters

49th Avenue Planters

The Village of Pouce Coupe welcomes members of the public to use planters along 49th Avenue (Main Street) to help beautify the community.

The planters are available for any individual or group who submits a request at the Village office. The applicant is responsible for planting, care, and maintenance of any plants they choose to have in their allotted planter.

There are no fees or charges associated with the use of a planter. Furthermore, the Village will water the planters on 49th Avenue three times a week as per the Trees, Shrubs, and Flowers policy. At the end of the growing season, the applicant is responsible for removing any non-perennial plant.

The current brick planters were put in place a couple of decades ago. Prior to that, they were on logs. They continue to get refilled every year with a new set of plants. For more information or to request a planter, you can contact the office at 250-786-5794 or visit the Village office.
