The Village of Pouce Coupe can now accept over the phone credit card payments for utilities.
Changes to Utility Billing effective May 1, 2022
As of May 1, 2022, the utilities are billed to Bi-monthly billing cycles.
Your Utility Bill
Utility bills include fees for
- water service,
- sewer service and
- garbage service.
Outstanding utility fees unpaid as of January 31 each year will be transferred to property taxes for the property.
Ways to Pay Your Utilities
1. Pay through your Financial Institution - Online, Telephone, or in Person
You can pay your utilities through your financial institution by setting the Village of Pouce Coupe up as a Payee. For online banking, search "Pouce Coupe" or "Village of Pouce Coupe" and select the utility account. Your account number can be found on your utility bill. Utility account numbers are 3 to 5 digits long. If the system asks for a longer number, place "0"s before the number. Payments may take 2-3 days to transfer to our account.
2. Pay in Person
Bring your utility bill and payment to the Village of Pouce Coupe, located at 5011 49 Avenue. Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays). When the office is closed, you may drop off a cheque in the 24-hour mail slot. Acceptable payment methods include:
- Personal cheques* - payable to Village of Pouce Coupe
- Money orders
- Bank drafts
- Credit cards
*Dishonoured cheques constitute non-payment of utilities and will be subject to a returned cheque fee.
3. 24-Hour Mail Slot
There is a secure mail slot (black mailbox) located at the entrance to the Village Office and is accessible seven days a week. Do not put cash in the mail slot.

The Village of Pouce Coupe does not currently have a direct debit pre-authorized payment plan, however, a payment can be made at your financial institution or in person at the Village Office any time of the year.
