The Pouce Coupe Community Centre is an ideal space to host any event for you and your friends! The hall provides all the amenities for those milestone family events, as well as business meetings, conferences, training sessions, performances and trade shows.
Hall Dimensions
The hall has a maximum capacity of 330 people (theatre seating) and 297 for meals (banquet seating).
The hall is 78 feet long and 47 feet wide. There is also a stage at the front of the room that is 30 feet wide and 13 feet deep.

Booking
Facility rental is secured once the completed Rental Agreement is received by the Village Office along with the $100.00 deposit to reserve the date. Contact the Village Office at (250) 786-5794 or email info@poucecoupe.ca to book the Community Centre.
Weeknight Rentals - 3:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. ONLY
Weekend Rentals - 3:30 p.m. Friday - 12:00 p.m. Sunday
No member of the general public may occupy the building during school hours.
Serving Food and Alcohol?
If alcohol is served, a liquor license MUST be purchased and the kitchen MUST be rented. Renters who use a professional caterer must provide a Food Safe Certificate and the caterer must carry either a Village of Pouce Coupe Business License or an Inter-Community Business License for northeastern B.C.
Pre/Post-Inspections & Damage Deposit
An inspection will be done before and after an event. Should there be any damage noted after an event, the damage deposit will be held until the repairs can be made. Should the damage exceed this deposit, the renter will be held responsible for the balance.
If the facility is not cleaned properly at the time of post-inspection, a $50.00 charge/hr will be charged out of the damage deposit until the mess is cleaned.
Liability Insurance
Every user must provide proof of 2 million liability event insurance to the Village Office. If your company/association has existing insurance that covers all employess/members at any event, you must provide copies. If you do not have an existing policy, you must purchase Special Event Insurance or Sport Liability Insurance with the insurance brokerage of your choice.
The Village of Pouce Coupe and School District #59 MUST be named as ADDITIONAL INSURED'S on your policy.
Long-Term Rentals
The Pouce Coupe Community Centre is also available for long-term rentals. A long-term rental is any regularly scheduled booking running for more than a month.
There is a $1500.00 annual fee for groups renting out the Community Centre for regular, long-term usage. The damage deposit is waived, however the renter agrees to inspect the facility and equipment. The renter is also required to maintain a Minimum of 2 Million Liability Insurance for the duration of the rental agreement.
